People use Venmo to cover everyday needs like rent, bills, or dinner. Many didn't realize instant transfer was possible because the option was hidden and defaulted to past choices, leaving them stuck when they needed money most.
Your money, your choice
By showing both transfer choices upfront, people could immediately understand what was available and make an intentional decision that fit their needs.
Lightning fast
I designed a lightning icon as a visual cue for instant transfers. It gave users an immediate, intuitive signal that this option was the fastest way to access their money.
Transfer in seconds
I removed unnecessary steps and made the full balance the default, showing the exact amount after fees, removing the need for an extra review step before transferring.
